Calling Name and/or Number Delivery Block

This feature prevents your name and/or number from being shown on someone's Caller ID display.

Per-call Blocking is a standard feature on all lines and is accomplished by entering a simple code which prevents your number from being displayed on an individual call basis.

Per-line Blocking prevents all calls placed from your number from being displayed.

How to use Calling Name and/or Number Blocking Per-call:

	Press (On a rotary phone, dial 1167)
	Listen for three beeps, then dial tone.
	Dial the number you're calling as usual. The person you've called will not be able to see your name and/or number displayed on his or her telephone display screen. Instead, a "P" or "PRIVATE" will be displayed.

Notes:

Press (On a rotary phone, dial 1167) before each call you place. Otherwise, your name and/or number will be released to the person receiving your call.
Calling Name and/or Number Blocking will not work with calls placed to toll free or 900 numbers.

How to use Calling Name and/or Number Blocking Per-line:

If you have requested Per-line Blocking from your telephone company, you do not need to dial a code to block your number each time. Your number will always appear as PRIVATE.

To turn off Per line Blocking:

(allowing your name and/or number to be displayed to an individual)

Press (On a rotary phone, dial 11) before placing the call. Listen for three beeps and then dial tone.
