Step 1 - Click on Edit and then onto Preferences.

Step 2 - Click on the + beside Mail & Newsgroups.
Step 3 - In the Mail & Newsgroups area, you will want to
click on Identity first. This is where we will ensure that your E-Mail
address is correct. Ensure that where it shows(your username) at
the bottom that you replace it with the login name that you use to log
on to the Internet.

Step 4 - Now in the Mail Server area, we will need to look at
two things; your Incoming Mail Server and your Outgoing Mail Server.
Your Incoming Mail Server should look just like the example, below.
If it does not read mail.planttel.net like below, click Add, and type in
pop.planttel.net. If it does look like the example below, ensure
that your your Outgoing Mail Server reads smtp.planttel.net When this is
complete, click OK at the bottom. After these changes, the first time that
you check your E-Mail it will ask you for your POP3 Password. That is the
same password that you use to connect to the Internet.

Step 5 - If your Incoming Mail Server did not read mail.planttel.net
then you will need to change it here. Ensure that it looks like below,
changing (your username) to read the Login name that you use to get onto
the Internet with. When you are completed here, click OK to take you back
to the Mail Servers area.
