| How to use Call Transfer: |

After the calling party or called party is on the line, depress and release the switchhook, listen for three beeps and then steady dial tone. (The present call is placed on hold.) |

Press the destination number to which the call is to be transferred. |

When the line begins to ring, you can:
- Hang up and the other parties will be connected when the third party answers.
- Stay on the line until the third party answers, talk privately to the third party, then hang up, connecting the other two callers. Once you hang up, you cannot reconnect to the call.
Stay on the line until the third party answers, then press and quickly release the switchhook, making it a three-way converstation. | .. | ..
